- Official document from the Demographic Registry of Puerto Rico certifying that you have not remarried since your last divorce.
- Usually required to marry abroad, along with birth certificate and divorce or bachelor's certificate.
What happens after a divorce in PR?
- The court is supposed to automatically send the Judgment to the Demographic Registry.
- If you have a copy of the Judgment, send it by email after placing your order.
- There is a small possibility that the Judgment is not yet registered. In such a case, we can arrange for a certified copy through an additional order.
Language
- Officially issued in Spanish.
- You can add an English translation certified by a lawyer.
Processing and shipping time
- Regular: 10 working days, plus shipping time.
- Urgent: 3 to 5 working days, plus shipping time.
- Shipping: The cost is automatically calculated according to the address provided when ordering. To USA and PR are by federal mail, and international via FedEx® or UPS®.
