What is the Criminal History Certificate?
- It is a document issued by the Puerto Rico Police that shows a person's criminal history.
Who qualifies for expungement?
- We only work on less serious cases.
- The offense must be less serious according to the sentence.
- It has been more than 6 months since the sentence was served.
- No additional crimes have been committed since then.
- The person has a good reputation in the community.
What does the service include?
- Application for a current Criminal Record Certificate.
- Certified copies of the Judgment and Resolution, with court seals.
- Certification from the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, if applicable, indicating compliance with the sentence.
- Preparation and swearing of an affidavit (affidavit).
- Internal revenue stamps or vouchers.
- Management of the procedure directly with the Puerto Rico Police.
