What is the Criminal History Certificate?

• It is a document issued by the Puerto Rico Police that shows a person's criminal history.

Who qualifies for expungement?

• We only handle less serious cases.
• According to the ruling, the offense must be less serious.
• It has been more than six months since the sentence was served.
• No additional crimes have been committed since then.
• The person has a good reputation in the community.

What does the service include?

• Application for a current Criminal Record Certificate.
• Certified copies of the Judgment and Resolution, with court seals.
• Certification from the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, if applicable, indicating compliance with the sentence.
• Preparation and swearing of an affidavit (affidavit).
• Internal revenue stamps or vouchers.
• Management of the procedure directly with the Puerto Rico Police.
